Bhutan, a Buddhist realm on the Himalayas’ eastern edge, is known for its cloisters, posts (or dzongs) and sensational scenes that extend from subtropical fields to soak mountains and valleys. In the High Himalayas, pinnacles, for example, 7,326m Jomolhari are well known trekking goals. Paro Taktsang religious community (otherwise called Tiger’s Nest) sticks to precipices over the forested Paro Valley.

It’s the highlight of the show, the hike to famous Paro Taktsang. Early in the morning, We drive 20 minutes from Paro town towards the base. From the base camp of Taktsang, it is between 2-3 hours of uphill walk. You have option of taking a horse ride till the Viewpoint Cafeteria, which is about the half way, or trek the experience all the way. Given the uphill climb, it is suggested to take the horse ride and save the energy for trekking the rest of the trip. Have refreshment at the café and move on energized. I would personally recommend trekking all the way to the top-it’s a surreal feeling when you see the tigers nest.On the way back, we can stop at the cafeteria for lunch.
Hot stone bath complimentary of the agent.
